Enjoy a quiet stay in Gardiner, Oregon, at the Guest House.
Built in 1883 by Alfred W. Reed, it is located just one block off Highway 101 on
Jewett Lane. Recently remodeled for comfort, it maintains much of
its historic Victorian charm.
The quaint little "city" historically known as "The White City
by the Sea" is in the heart of Dune Country. Eighteen miles south of
Florence, two miles north of Reedsport, the area offers a variety of
recreational activities; fishing (lake, river and ocean) within four to six
miles, boating, clam digging, crabbing, beach combing, surfing, water skiing,
and hiking on many natural trails.
The hosts encourage you to enjoy the quiet charm of this old
house. Curl up with a good book by bay windows overlooking the Umpqua
River. Sit by a crackling fire, browse old books, or enjoy historic
pictures.
